Kenneth Simpson

Clinic Owner and Sports Therapist

Kenny spent nearly a decade working behind the scenes with elite rugby players, professional ballet dancers, and other high-level performers, helping them push their limits and recover quickly. He realised that this level of care shouldn’t be exclusive to professional athletes. That's why he created Virtus Rehab and Performance to provide tailored treatment and expert support to anyone who wants to feel strong, stay active, and achieve their best.

Experience:

Over 10 years of experience working for

  • Scottish Rugby: Served as the soft tissue therapist during the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan.

  • Harlequins Academy, Northampton Saints, Coventry Rugby, and London Scottish: Worked as part of the medical teams for these elite rugby clubs.

  • English National Ballet: Provided support to world-class performers.

Lucy Mandell

Physiotherapist

Lucy is a dedicated Senior Physiotherapist with a passion for delivering comprehensive and goal-focused care. She brings a wide range of experience to her role, including her work in the NHS as an Urgent Community Response Physiotherapist. With a background spanning MSK, neurology, and orthopaedics, she is committed to helping clients reach their full potential. Lucy has also contributed to a research study focused on promoting physical activity among older adults and has a keen interest in sporting injuries and fractures.

  • Clinical Expertise: Experienced in a diverse range of specialities, including MSK, medicine, respiratory, orthopaedics, and neurology.
